Nutrisystem Blogger 15 Program
I am starting on the Nutrisystem Program. I was supposed to start on July 6th, but to be honest, I didn’t. I’ve been extremely preoccupied and just couldn’t prepare myself mentally for it. But I guess that’s been my excuse with regards to my weight loss for a few years now. The whole “I’ll start on Monday or next week” thing that I tend to do.
After reading through their site and all the guides I think I am going to really enjoy this. Why? Because of the simplicity of it. Eat the foods they send you, with your add-on fruits and veggies, and you will lose weight. Of course you have to want to change and be dedicated but the way I see it is, if you can make this as simple as possible for me to incorporate it into my life, then that will raise my chances of success.
“No counting calories, carbs or points—and no meetings to attend”
I love that idea. Hey, if it’s good enough for Dan Marino… it’s good enough for me. 🙂
I’ll be starting the program next week and am really looking for to it. The food looks delicious. There is a wide assortment of foods. Everything from hot dogs, to pasta, to sloppy joe. That’s right… I said sloppy joe, son!!! It’s been one of my favorite things to eat… EVER. So Nutrisystem already gets props from me for even offering that in their program.
My immediate reaction to the food that came in the box was: “How am I supposed to lose weight while eating all this great tasting food?” But then it hit me that they know what they are doing. Their foods are based on The Glycemic Index. I’ve got a month worth of food all lined up and am ready to start devouring the food. The huge box of food came neatly packed, with color-coded foods that I could mix and match. Perfect for switching things up on a daily basis.
The Nutrisystem Men’s Program I received also included a Meal Planner, a Resource Guide to help you get the best out of it all, and a Dining Out Guide to help keep your butt on track. That I will need over the next couple of weeks, as I will definitely be distracted…
I’ll be posting weekly updates on my Nutrisystem journey for the next 4 months, so stay tuned for updates and video blogs to keep you in-the-know on how I’m doing.
Israel out.

Congratulations on changing your life. Taking a look at NurtiSystems website and it seems like this would work well. Make sure to do strength training while you do this so that I build some muscle in the background. You will glad that someone told you this.
Frank, it’s definitely part of my plan. Strength training is something I’ve always had an affinity for.
