My Weight Loss Goal Clothes
I have had a pair of black jeans size 40 for about 3 years. They are made by Pepe Jeans London. I love that brand. Never worn, ever. I also have a pair of shorts my wife bought me when I was in shape but never wore them either. Those are Pepe too.
This is the year I put them on, that’s one of my goals. I tried putting them on but it was a very tight fit. I had to forcefully pull them up to my waist, and they barely got there. I couldn’t button them. I couldn’t even walk in them. I had to shuffle my feet in order to get the camera in the living room so I could take the picture below. When it was time to take them off I had to peel them off slowly. It was bad. REAL BAD. The fact that I could even pull them up past my knees is amazing. Last time I tried a year ago I wasn’t successful.
I got the idea for this post from Biggest Loser Tuesday night when the trainers presented the contestants with the goal shirts. I had goal shirts and pants before, but none with writing on them. I have always wanted to buy or fit into a certain pair of cloths and these are it. I can’t believe it’s been 3 years. I also have a bunch of shirts I haven’t worn in eons. I have a closet full of clothes that I don’t wear. Sadly I haven’t done anything about it until now. My goal jeans may seem big, but at size 40 they are a perfect fit. I have big thighs and I have always worn size 40 or 42 in order to have a baggy fit around my thighs. I attribute the trait to my mother. Thanks mom.
I was on someone else’s blog the other day and she was talking about letting go of her skinny jeans because she would never be able to wear them again. I don’t agree with that. I say get back in shape and put those jeans on. Don’t concede to the fat. I won’t!
Never ever get rid of the goal clothes. I have a pair of jeans from my college days (I’m 40 now) and every time I gain a bit too much weight they have been my goal jeans. At times they have been unused for 2 years or more, but I know they are always there, mocking my weight gain and helping me to stay motivated when I finally decide to take the weight off. I’m not sure if my weight loss efforts would be nearly as successful without those jeans.
Thats cool, goals are meant for something.
you look hot! ha hilarious! that’s the style now! what ya peeps know about Pepe jeans thats whats up!
Surf, big up the BX and those Pepe’s.
I agree. Frame those things!
Thats taking it to far, but they are there in the back of my noggin.
I am keeping my fat clothes because you just never know when you will need them again.
That doesnt sound positive. The goal is to not need to wear them again.
Check out this little beauty I hope to wear in a month or two. Just have to eliminate those last few unsightly rolls. But even if I don’t lose them I still have to wear the shirt as punishment for failing to achieve my goals.

I read that a while back on your blog I think you will look awesome in it. You are a beast!
I have a really hard time letting go of anything really. . I have a pile of jeans on the top of my closet that I will fit into again.
I will be throwing out my fat jeans though…maybe I’ll just burn them
Or donate them to a shelter or something.
Keep going for your goal Israel, you will be wearing those jeans and will be feeling fabulous for achieving your dream. 🙂
I cant wait for that moment. And I cant wait to share it on here.
Hey,
Just stumbled upon your blog and it’s great. The jeans goal is good too. I was at the store about a month ago to get some jeans. Went to the dressing room to find the jeans that had a perfect. Came out, got the size below and bought them.
Great way to stay motivated.
As I said, great site. I tagged it in del.icio.us so I’ll be returning to read about your progress!
Thx for stopping by and commenting. Looking forward to your presence.

You have to work hard for wearing them.

Setting goals is an important part of any success. Being creative such as goal clothes is an excellent way to get there. Can’t wait for the day when you slip into them with ease.
