Crossfit Tampa Keeps Messing With Me
Okay. So, I’m super excited to try Crossfit for the first time. I do some Googling and come up with a few Crossfit results here in Tampa, FL. One of which is Crossfit Tampa. I contact the guy and he gets back to me so that I can take my first class last Tuesday. I get ready (mentally and physically), but there is no Crossfit class that day. Time wasted: 1 hour 45 minutes.
This pisses me off. I had been looking forward to it for a week. I get let down. No worries, I chalked it up to life. I then make arrangements to go to the Saturday Crossfit Tampa class. Guess what?
The damn Crossfit class wasn’t there. I wasted another good hour of my time for this just to get let down again. Not good. So far Crossfit has dissappointed me and I haven’t even had a chance to take a class. I know I will like it when I do attend a class and that is why I am giving it one more shot. I really wanted to take my first class before I went on vacation to New York, but I won’t be able to do that. Instead, I will need to wait until January for my first class…that is unless someone in NYC can hook me up with a Crossfit class. Hint, hint.
Otherwise, I will just continue to do my own thing. I just really wanted to learn some Crossfit madness and add that to my own routine. Oh well.
So that’s my Crossfit experience so far. I’m pissed!

Taylor, you are correct. That is why I have made contact with a different CrossFit in the area.
That’s too bad. A lot of the CrossFit stuff is based on a conditioning circuit. You can probably come up with some of your own stuff. It’s basically a circuit using weights. Like the 300 workout that was going around when the movie came out. I do a weight circuit myself. If you keep a decent resistance and shoot for better time each workout, it really kicks your butt!
I know, but I wanted to incorporate some of the things I learned first hand.
Don’t know.. need to clear some doubts.

ROFL. I’m so sorry, perhaps it is just my twisted sense of humor, but that is really funny (especially the way you write it). Of course, I also laughed myself silly when a friend and I tried racquetball for the first time. We’re both girls, so we’re allowed to squeal a little bit, right? Anyhow, I love it when I run across amusing stuff once in a while. By the way, I am also trying to get back into shape and lose weight (which is why I found your blog). Good luck with improving your health!
Sounds like you are pissed because you didnt get a free class so you can use it on your own. I am sure the owner loves spending all that money on how to train people along with equipment so jack offs can come in for a free class to soak in the free training.
